Why we were created

Black-led podcasts continue to challenge the status quo, blending entertainment, education, and empowerment in ways that resonate far beyond their respective audiences. The hottest podcast and black entertainment media is growing. The entertainment industry is a vast and dynamic sector that encompasses various forms of media and content designed to entertain, inform, and inspire audiences. At Coutio'r TV we are filling that gap. Definition and Key Sectors:The entertainment industry includes a wide range of activities and businesses focused on providing amusement and enjoyment.
Entertainment is any activity which provides a diversion or permits people to amuse themselves in their leisure time, and may also provide fun, enjoyment, and laughter. People may create their own entertainment, such as when they spontaneously invent a game; participate actively in an activity they find entertaining, such as when they play sport as a hobby; or consume an entertainment product passively, such as when they attend a performance. Which is why Coutio'r TV was created. I have a passion to see rising stars as a lot of talent goes unforeseen. I want to find that talent and reward it!
The entertainment industry (informally known as show business or show biz) is part of the tertiary sector of the economy and includes many sub-industries devoted to entertainment. However, the term is often used in the mass media to describe the mass media companies that control the distribution and manufacture of mass media entertainment. In the popular parlance, the term show biz in particular connotes the commercially popular performing arts, especially musical theatre, vaudeville, comedy, film, fun, and music. It applies to every aspect of entertainment including cinema, television, radio, theatre, and music. The first known occurrence of concerts where people are charged admission took place at violinist John Banister's home in Whitefriars, London in 1672. 6 years later in 1678, a man by the name of Thomas Britton held weekly concerts in Clerkenwell. However, these concerts were different. Before, there was an admission that people paid upon entering the building where the concert was held, but at Britton's concerts, patrons purchased a yearly subscription to come to the concerts. At 10 shillings a year, people could see as many concerts as possible. Over the course of the years - 2025 all that has changed. The global live music industry revenue stood at 28.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2023. Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in 2023 was record-breaking, generating $1.04 billion in revenue, averaging $17.3 million per show.
